EdelGive Foundation is a philanthropic initiative of Edelweiss Capital Limited, one of India’s leading financial services firm, and provides strategic direction to the activities of Edelweiss, its employees, clients and associates. EdelGive’s focus areas include Education, Livelihoods and Women Empowerment. We work closely with our investees by bringing an investment banking and venture capital approach to the social sector. We leverage the skills and expertise of the Edelweiss employees through our Employee Engagement Program. As a value-added intermediary, we combine grant making with hands-on capacity building support to our investees in the areas Strategy and leadership building, financial planning and sustainability strategies, Human Resource planning and Technology solutions.

EdelGive has engaged with Mann Deshi Foundation, winners of EdelGive Social Innovation Honours 2010 in the Livelihoods category in a knowledge partnership. Edelweiss employees are working with Mann Deshi on projects specific to their domain skills and having worked on similar projects, they are also advising them on ways of overcoming the challenges faced by them.
